Havelock North Business Association (HNBA) is a non-profit, incorporated society made up of owners and representatives of a number of businesses in Havelock North, Hawke’s Bay. The Association’s goal is to create tangible value for its members.
The Association has two key roles:
The continuation of the brand and national marketing strategy which includes
HNBA’s web presence was hidden away within a tourist information website that was owned by a local operator. The listings were out of date and did nothing to capture the feel of the Village, nor the businesses in Havelock North, and HNBA had not allocated enough resources to promote Havelock North effectively to the rest of Hawke’s Bay or New Zealand.
HNBA commissioned Mogul to design and build a website that encompasses what it is like to shop and live in the Village.
The purpose of the site was to have an independent website and email newsletter to promote Havelock North and to use it as a tool to market the Village effectively.
The design emphasis is on showcasing the various retailers and service providers in Havelock North, to give businesses a reason to join and to have some ownership of the site.
The process was so much easier because the Mogul team brought so much knowledge and experience including the design – look and feel. We didn’t need to really bring anything to the table except our ideas and our logo how easy is that! The big plus was Mogul were really excited about the project and what we wanted to achieve.
As an Association we want to provide value to our members and our website is a huge part of this mission. Mogul continue to help us build our database through website campaigns – it’s all done and organised for a very cost effective monthly fee – we don’t have to think to much about it!
Mogul are digital communication experts so they can support a business or organisation to build a brand and develop a clear communication strategy online which crosses over into other media – this is critical for all businesses looking for growth.
