George and I have decided that it’s time to close down the Hawke’s Bay business website, Fruitbowl (www.fruitbowl.co.nz).
We set the site up in 2009 with Rod Drury from Xero and a number of local companies joined us as foundation sponsors. It’s been going for nearly 5 years now. There have been some great discussions on the site and many friendships and business relationships have come about from it.
But the amount of articles and comments has pretty much dried up. Last week I told the sponsors of the site about our plan to close it down and the overwhelming response has been that the site has run its course.
Thanks so much for your contribution to Fruitbowl and we look forward to whatever comes next for business networking in the Bay.
